My husband bought this house about 2 years before we were married and it was a disaster. Although we were dating at the time, I was not involved in the decision-making process for the renovations. Once we married and I moved in, he kindly allowed me to make the place my own which at times meant that we had to change some of the things that he worked really hard on when he first renovated. Our house is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath ranch with no basement in the perfect location for our stage of life. It’s close to family, friends, work and our church family.

Our house is decorated using thrift and yard sale items combined with my imagination. From the dining room tables to the master bedroom foot bench to all the throw pillows as well as the painting of the kitchen cabinets, I craft. Name it and I will tell you how I got it at a thrift store and fixed it up!

I love your home. I have paneling in my living room with groves that look like wood grian and I hate it. My sister’s husband filled her paneling in with plaster but I don’t have the energy to do that I am disabled and need the simplest solution for the walls any ideas ?
